"The only person stopping you from achieving greatness is you"

Gbemi is originally from Nigeria but grew up in Indianapolis. She is majoring in Community Health within the School of Public Health. After she graduates, she hopes to have a seat in a Biomedical Masters Program and start her journey to medical school. During her free time, she loves to watch Netflix and go exploring different places she might have not known about.

Biggest Challenge

Being able to step out of my comfort zone when I was a freshman here at IU was very challenging for me because I am an introvert and I was extremely shy to get to know others. Over time, I overcame that feel because I was always surrounded by people and that environment made it a bit easier to talk to others.

Lessons Learned

If you want something, you cannot just expect it to fall into your lap; you have to chase it yourself.
