The oldest of seven children, I have developed into an extremely flexible and tolerant individual. In a family of my size you learn at an early age that teamwork is everything. Because of this and because of my senior year experiences as the captain of Chesterton Indiana’s Varsity soccer team, I have had many opportunities to develop into a capable leader as well as communicator and mediator.
Although my past work experiences consist of labor specific positions with very little office time, I feel that the skills I acquired through these employments form an intangible part of who I am and have thusly prepared me for a transition into the business world. Spending my high school summers working forty hours a week as a junior custodian and complementing my studies last year with twelve hours of lawn care taught me to value hard-work and ingrained in me a passion for overcoming adversity because I realize that there is no feeling more rewarding than that of witnessing your toils culminate with the production of a superb final product.
