Michael is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Science degree in Education from Indiana University, he joined the professional staff of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he served as a member of the Department of Residential Education. He later returned to his Alma Mater serving in a variety of capacities with the Department of Residence Life and later the Division of Residential Programs and Services before joining the team of professionals at the Career Development Center.
