"There are choices in most instances in our lives."

Tehanee is originally from Sri Lanka. She completed her undergraduate degree at a small all-women school, Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA, and completed her MBA and Master's in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green, KY (home to every Corvette manufactured since 1981). Throughout her undergraduate and graduate degrees, Tehanee worked in a variety of student services positions which translated into her first role right out of undergrad working with federal immigration regulations for international students, and continued work after her graduate degrees in residence life, student life and learning, graduate recruiting and career services. Tehanee enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and two fox terriers.

Best Career Blunder

Thinking I should really use my MBA, after enjoying working in student services.

Biggest Challenge

Making sure my team and I were meeting our monthly goals which were important to our unit.

Lessons Learned

While I enjoy helping people, helping people to primarily meet their financial needs did not fill my bucket.
