Students who receive a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) are eligible to apply to any 1-year full-time Advanced Standing Master of Social Work (MSW) program in the United States. IUB offers this 5-year pathway to a BSW/MSW. IUB BSW seniors with a 3.25 GPA or higher are eligible to "fast track" into any Indiana University School of Social Work MSW program in the state. Licensure as a social worker is available in the State of Indiana, as well as most other U.S. states, at both the BSW and MSW levels. Clinically licensed MSWs are qualified to provide counseling services and bill health insurance.
